Our shop in Trani: A True Apulian Heritage!

Today we want to share some exciting news with you regarding the heart of Apulian business, and in particular our Pizzolante Srl store.

This year, a remarkable 455 historic businesses in our beautiful Puglia have received official recognition as historic shops, historic artisan workshops, or historic venues, thanks to Regional Law no. 30/2021. These businesses, which embody the essence of Apulian history, art, culture, and entrepreneurial traditions, have been included in the regional register.

We want to highlight some figures to help you understand the importance of this recognition:

• 243 historic shops: retail trade establishments in fixed premises or public markets.
• 140 historic artisan workshops: places dedicated to the production and direct sale of goods and services.
• 72 historic venues: places mainly dedicated to catering and the administration of food and beverages.

And among all these wonderful businesses, 35 have been awarded the "Patrimonio di Puglia" (Heritage of Puglia) title, having at least 70 years of history behind them. Another 151 have celebrated at least 40 years of activity.

Now, for the most exciting part: 17 of these businesses are located in the splendid Trani, and I am proud to announce that Pizzolante is not only one of them, but has also received the prestigious title of "Historic Shop Heritage of Puglia." But that's not all: Pizzolante is the business with the longest history of all!
